YouTube is one of my best teachers. I learned a lot by watching videos uploaded by highly qualified experts. By using YouTube I have learned many WordPress tricks, how to deal with website maintenance or how to use and buy smartphones and tablets. It’s nothing special, the only particularity is that I use YouTube intensively and I have tons of subscriptions. The studies reveal that the video consumption is constantly growing, therefore we should be prepared to watch even more videos.
Obviously, there are many YouTube channels for Photoshop lovers and I subscribed to many of them. It’s true that some channels provide low-value information, but some deliver really useful content. In the next lines, I will present you my favorite YouTube channels for Photoshop lovers. It’s probable to miss some channels that provide valuable tutorials or useful tips. In this case please add your contribution via comment form and I will gladly update the post.
This is the official Adobe Photoshop channel; if you are passionate about you should subscribe to it. You have many videos to watch and the playlists are interesting – “Photoshop for Aerial Photography”, “Photoshop Techniques for Photo & Video from Craftsy”, “Photoshop Hidden Gems”, “Adobe Generator.” Unfortunately, the videos aren’t uploaded on a consistent basis; I think that a brand as Adobe can’t allow uploading videos randomly even if their quality is high.
Photoshop Tutorials is a YouTube channel for Photoshop lovers no matter their level of expertise. You can watch video tutorials for every kind of users; there are tutorials for beginners and experts. On average, these are for intermediary users and the techniques presented are carefully explained, therefore you will learn them and apply with ease in your future projects.
Photoshopmana is a Youtube channel that is useful for any kind of Photoshop user. It’s a huge collection of tutorials that covers all Photoshop uses. There are videos to improve your glamor makeover skills, but also videos for male retouching. Photoshop Mama Tutorials is a channel with 110+ tutorials that should be watched by anyone willing to learn how to correctly extract, correct, crop, and retouch various subjects.
I must admit that I felt in love with the playlists created by the account holder. “Learn Photoshop in 60 Seconds” is the first playlist and it consists of a short video showing how to do a trick. Simple and effective, isn’t it? “Beginner Photoshop Tutorials” is another playlist with 120+ videos; definitely, the less experienced Photoshop users should subscribe to this playlist.
The intermediate users aren’t neglected, too. “Intermediate Photoshop Tutorials” is a playlist containing 20+ tutorials that are targeted for them.
Tutvid is another YouTube channel for Photoshop lovers that fully deserves your attention. Unlike the majority of the channels from this list, here are housed Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks tutorials. I recommend on studying “Listy Photoshop Tutorials and Videos” playlist – there are many complex works that are suitable for most experienced users (I dare to think that it is better to replace “experienced” with “patient”).
Photoshop Tutorials by PHLEARN is a channel that is aimed at users interested in professional retouching. PHLEARN YouTube channel contains playlists for text effects (30 effects) and composing, therefore you have enough reasons to check this provider of Photoshop tutorials.
Andrei Opinca is running PSDBOX.com and he owns this YouTube channel for Photoshop lovers. I have a negative remark – the “Simple Manipulation Tutorial” is a huge playlist containing 610 videos but only a part of them are truly presenting Photoshop tutorials or tricks. Altogether, there are many playlists with amazing tutorials (Premium Tutorials, Effects, and Wallpapers, Abstract Tutorials).
In my humble opinion, this YouTube channel is targeted for intermediate users that don’t allow themselves the luxury of spending much time on self-preparation. Tutorials Junction provides short tutorials that teach you impressive tips and techniques. On average, a tutorial is no more than 15 minutes…enough to learn something new without affecting your schedule.
Photoshop Surgeon is a channel for retouch designers. By subscribing to this YouTube channel for Photoshop lovers you will learn how to professionally use colors, lights, angles to human subjects. Many tutorials are very short and created to teach the viewers how to improve/change human faces. Wrapping up, if you work in the field of human retouching, glamor improvements or photography you should visit this place.
Photoshop Training Channel impressed me with the quality and the originality of the tutorials. You should look through all the videos, I have no doubts that you will appreciate the original ideas. On top of that, the explanations are clear and you can study the workflow of the expert. To entice you visit the channel I let you know that here are stored amazing 3D tutorials and you can learn how to create a realistic Pokemon.
This channel consists of many interesting tutorials but these aren’t grouped in playlists. If you are interested in sharpening your Photoshop skills there isn’t a big problem. On another hand, if you want to learn a specific technique or to improve your skills in a specific field this mess isn’t helpful at all. Anyway, the tutorials are high quality and you should give them a try.
I hope to enjoy these YouTube channels! Don’t forget to share the post with your friends!
