The posters are ones of the most interesting types of design projects. Usually, the designers have a few limitations and the result is the creation of amazing posters. A poster must be eye-catching, else it is a waste of time. Despite the huge number of amazing posters, creating a cool one is a challenging job.
In the next lines, I will present my method of creating posters. I am not sure that it will work for everyone, but the principles behind this algorithm are correct. If you have other methods please use the comment form and share your thoughts with us.
Immediately after I am assigned to create a poster I ask a few questions the client. I need to know as many as possible details about the project. Firstly, I ask for details regarding the type of the project- it’s a funny poster for young and happy people or it’s a formal one for serious viewers? Secondly, I ask for information about the brand or event for which the poster is created. It’s vital to know these details. The same as in any design projects, the success is determined by the matching of the work created with the core values of the brand. Finally, I start working and I email the first sketches to the client for feedback.
I am an adept of action, therefore I finished the theoretical aspects. Still, before delving into work I think that the next amazing posters will refill your inspiration level. All are hand-picked and are created by talented designers. I will continue to publish other inspirational articles about poster design, therefore if you created a cool piece of design please add the address into a comment.
If you want to reward the creators of these amazing posters please share the post with your friends.
