Unfortunately for my loyal readers, I took a break for almost two months since I published my last article. The good news is that I start again posting – this time a useful collection of fresh and creative Photoshop tutorials.

You may accuse me of not being modest (yeah, shame on me) but I am involved in design blogosphere for more than five years. I have enough reasons to consider me as an experienced user of web design blogs. In fact, I am a self-taught designer and I learn a lot by consulting various blogs. Daniel2Design is created to help other people that were as me…needing pieces of advice and resources to learn. Wrapping up, you may contact me anytime you need help or a simple opinion. I try to reply as soon as I can, but sometimes I am too busy with my personal projects. Anyway, I promise that I reply to all of you!!!

After five years spent consulting tons of blogs, especially design related ones I think that we are in the middle of a subtle and important revolution. More and more blogs are disappearing and only the big brands manage to resist on the market. Willing or not, we must accept that in the case of the tutorials, the written format (lacking any video) isn’t as attractive as the video one. The designers and blogs focused more on providing video courses and neglected the “classical” format of a tutorial. You shouldn’t despond, the Internet is full of astonishing pieces of “classical” tutorials. I am betting that these won’t ever disappear. I think that the Internet is respecting the rule of Mikhail Lomonosov – “nothing is lost, everything is changing”!

Apparently, the content evolution has nothing to do with Photoshop tutorials, but thinking deeper, there is a strong linking. It might be only a personal conclusion, but I think that comparing with the previous year, the number of Photoshop tutorials is shrinking. We are in April and I hardly find 20 creative Photoshop tutorials to delight you! Perhaps I am too demanding, but I am 100% sure that the designers and bloggers are changing their mind and go for video tutorials or courses. If it is a good idea or not…well, I really expect you opinion. Any idea will help me a lot to resolve this complicated equation.
